Here’s My Lead America Review, They Rock

Achieving My Goals with Lead America

I definitely want to go to the Lead America career conference next year for Medicine & Healthcare because I can get up to two college credits. That would be fantastic. From everything I’ve read, this Lead America program gets the best reviews, so I think it would be worth it. I read where one guy even went to FIVE conferences, including law, medicine and NSI! With all these great conferences, how can anyone say Lead America is a scam? That’s simply outrageous.

I’ve been trying to convince my parents to let me go, and they say as long as I can raise the money, I can go. I’ve been looking at the Lead America web site, and they have a great guide with fundraising ideas, plus you can create your own online fundraising page. I also plan to apply for one of their scholarships and get a job tutoring math next year. I’m so excited. Some of my friends think I’m crazy – the ones who still think Lead America is a scam – but I’m just dedicated to my future and plan to make the most of every opportunity I can seize. And I’m a firm believer that Lead America can help me achieve all my goals.

Lead America Sucks, As If!!! My Review of Lead America Is an A Plus

Lead America Improves Leadership Skills with Real-Life Exercises, Not Scams

The reason I’m going to Lead America Leadership University is to improve my interpersonal skills and communication. I’m fairly introverted, and sometimes it can be hard for me to talk to others or work in groups. One of my teachers suggested I go to this conference. She didn’t know that I had already been to one, so I told her how great it was. Like my parents, she too was skeptical that Lead America was an elaborate scam, but all the students she has nominated for Lead America have come back with rave reviews.

Anyway, at Leadership University you do role-playing scenarios and practice public speaking, which terrifies me, but it will be good for me. I like to be challenged, and it sounds like many of the activities will force me out of my comfort zone. An added bonus is that I can get a college credit from Lead America. It sucks that I couldn’t get one when I went two years ago, but I wasn’t even in 8th grade yet. Another part of the trip I’m looking forward to is going into San Francisco to see some of the sights. I’ve never been there before, although that’s where my parents lived before I was born. We live in Colorado now, but if I get into school at Stanford, they might actually move back to the area. I’m hoping to get a scholarship there. I’ve read that some colleges believe Lead America to be a scam, but since it has truly had such an impact on my life, I’m planning to leverage my Lead America experiences in my application essay and admissions interviews.

My Review on Lead America: An Investment In My Future

Lead America is an Investment in My Future

I’m looking at courses for next year, my sophomore year, and I’m going to start taking AP classes. I’ll start with AP Biology, then take AP Chemistry my junior year, then AP Physics my senior year. My time at the Medicine & Science conference inspired me to pursue advanced courses in high school, as well as a career as a doctor, or perhaps a researcher, molecular biologist, or geneticist. Lead America opened my eyes to the endless possibilities. It was so worthwhile, and the best investment my parents ever made. It’s ironic that at first they thought Lead America was a scam, but now they agree it was a solid investment in my future. I might even get to go to the Medicine and Healthcare conference at Berkeley next summer, but I will have to help raise money for it. They’ve been looking at Lead America reviews for this program online. I’ve seen some people on Facebook comment on it, and they loved it.
